CNN Hero of the Year 2009 Efren Peñaflorida admit in public that he want to court actress Angel Locsin. According to him, last 2004 was the first time his heart beat and falls for Angel.
Last November 19, 2009 Angel and Efren met unexpectedly. Efren went to Los Angeles for CNN Awarding Nights for Hero of the Year 2009 while Angel went to L.A. for Emmy Awards Night. She was nominated as Best Actress for her TV series Lobo.
Efren also admit that he visited Angel's father and open up his intentions to the actress.

I think every great man deserves a girl of his dreams. There's nothing wrong if he pursue Angel because that's what he feels.Nobody has the right to tell anyone who fits you or not because of your status. That is just one ridiculous thinking of every Filipino.
