Jonnny Delgado has Passed Away

Filipino actor and television personality Johnny Delgado has passed away at about 1:20pm Philippine Time. He died due to complications from his lymphoma or cancer of the lymph nodes which was diagnosed in 2008. Delgado was a very prominent and good actor whose latest appearances includes Star Cinema’s You Got Me opposite Toni Gonzaga and Sam Milby and television roles in GMA 7's Kamandag and ABS-CBN’s Maria Flordeluna and May Bukas Pa.

Filipino Blogosphere Pays Tribute to Corazon "Cory" Aquino

Filipino Blogosphere joins the Filipino nation and the world in giving honor and tribute to former President Corazon "Cory" Aquino. Accordiing to an article by the blog-winning journalist Tonyo Cruz in his blog tonyocruz.com at the news of Cory's death the blogosphere had been filled with posts and tweeter updates honoring and paying tribute to Cory Aquino.

Besides messages and posts some blogs also went a color and header makeover to signify their tribute and oneness with the family of the former president. Some also displayed yellow ribbon in their blogs. In Facebook, avatars had been changed to yellow ribbon avatars or some had a yellow ribbon in their avatar.

Rinoa's Virtual Buzz joins the whole nation in prayers and in paying tribute to the emancipator of Philippine Democracy. She had shown the world what a true Filipino is.

A Tribute of Songs to Francis "Kiko" Magalona... Farewell Master Rapper!

Francis Magalona aka Master Rapper aka The King of Pinoy Rap was finally laid to rest. His family, friends and fans supported him until the last ounce of his life and will continue to support him beyond death. His songs and patriotic inspirations will remain in the hearts of the Filipino people for eternity. As the saying goes whatever you do in this life it will echo for eternity.

Francis M. died March 6, 2009 due to leukemia. For more than 6 months he battled through leakemia and even managed to put his struggle in his blog. even in his sickness he continued to be strong and to plan on how to impart patriotism to the Filipinos. His "3 Stars and a Sun" line of shirts was well circulated and was even copied by others... today it is worn by many people and replaced the Che Guevarra hip in the country.

As a tribute let us serenade you with the songs and videos of Francis "Master Rapper" Magalona. Farewell Kiko!
