Panday and Mano Po 6 Tops 35th Metro Manila Film Festival Winners

The 35th Metro Manila Film Festival Winners are all thankful of the awards they have received in recognition of their effort for this years festival. The biggest winners are of course Bong Revilla's Panday and Sharon Cuneta's Mano Po 6: A Mothers Love.

Panday won the Best Picture and Bong Revilla Jr. as the Best Actor while Sharon Cuneta grabbed the Best Actress Award.

Ang Darling Kong Aswang Another Top Grosser

If the long lines in SM City Baliwag would be the main indication of the length of people wanted to watch "Ang Darling Kong Aswang" it would be a sure Box Office and top grosser. "Ang Darling Kong Aswang" is one of the Official Entries to the Metro Manila Film Festival which stars Box Office maker Vic Sotto with Kristine Reyes.

The 8 Official Entry of Metro Manila Film Festival 2009

MMDA Chairman Bayani Fernando together with the Executive Committee of Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2009 announce in their office Metropolitan Manila Development Administration (MMDA) the eight (8) official entries for the upcoming festival.

The official entries are: Mano Po 6 (Sharon Cuneta - Regal Films); Nieves (Marian Rivera-Regal Films); Shake, Rattle & Roll XI (Ruffa Gutierrez - Regal Films); Juan (Dolphy and Willie Revillame); Ikaw na Nga (Kris Aquino & Eugene Domingo - Star Cinema); Ang Darling Kong Aswang (Vic Sotto - M-Zet Productions); Panday (Bong Revilla - Imus Productions-GMA Films); Wapacman (Manny Pacquiao - Solar Films).
