Kapuso star Jennylyn Mercado won a case.
Last October 28, 2008 Jennylyn Mercado filed a case against her former personal assistant Rowena "Mel" Pulmano. The case is "Qualified Theft Through Falsification of Documents"
According to the four-page resolution released by Quezon City Assistant Prosecutor Arleen Tagaban, there is a "big chance" that Pulmano might be in prison. Pulmano maliciously used almost P 460,000 pesos amount of money which is rightfully owned by Mercado.

"...the undersigned finds probable cause to indict respondent [Pulmano] with the crime of Qualified Theft... Considering, therefore, that respondent, being complainant's personal assistant, had taken advantage of her position in committing the crime of Theft with grave abuse of confidence reposed in her by the complainant, there is sufficient ground to engender a well founded belief that respondent had committed the crime of Qualified Theft."The case is non-bailable. The resolution was released last August 20, 2009 and signed by Assistant City Prosecutor Arleen T. Tagaban with the recommending approval of 2nd Assistant City Prosecutor Donald T. Lee and officially approved by City Prosecutor Claro A. Arellano.
