Star Cinema announced that the movie "And I love You So" lead by Bea Alonzo, Sam Milby and Derek Ramsey will not shown in SM Cinemas during their premiere night in Cinema 5 Trinoma Mall, Quezon City.
Yes, it's confirmed! Star Cinema announce that the movie will not shown in all SM Cinemas nationwide. They found a report that there is a "miscomputation" of all the ticket solds by SM Cinemas since 2003.
According to the movie outfit, they have already the knowledge regarding the "miscomputation" of the report. They follow up and remind the problem to the management of SM but they always say that they will fix the problem until now.
Due to miscomputation of the report, Star Cinema demands to the SM Management that they must provide a correct computation regarding the tickets solds because more than a million of money was lost to the movie outfit.
They also decided that the upcoming movie Kimmy Dora (Eugene Domingo) and In My Life (Vilma Santos) will not probably shown in SM Cinemas until the problem was done.
SM Cinemas is known for it's best selling movie ticket (45%) nationwide according to the Yes! Magazine April 2009 issue.
And I Love You So is now showing in 100 theaters nationwide in Robinson's Mall, Ayala Malls and Power Plant in Rockwell Makati
