After two months of silence, Lorayne Pardo, widow of Nomar Prado is now legally filed a case against Richard Gutierrez.During her press conference in Abbas Law Firm at Eisenhower Street, San Juan City, she confirmed that she will filed a case "Reckless Imprudence Resulting in Homicide against actor Richard Gutierrez. The case was filed last July 23, 2009 at the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor in Imus, Cavite.
According to Atty. Ombra T. Jainal, lawyer of the family of Prado
"This is not about anything else. This is not about relationship. This is not about money. This is about criminal culpability. This is about justice. This is about the justice system in the country. Can an ordinary victim get justice or can he not? I'd like to believe that in this country, our justice system is working very well. And everybody will afford it—justice."
According to Lorayne, she doesn't want to file a case against the actor but suddenly something is going on her every night after the wake of his husband. She always dreamed of him telling something. She found a wallet and a receipt issued by LTO (Land Transportation Office) amounting to P 500.00 last February 5, 2005 as a payment for Richard's penalty as a reckless driver.
Lorayne said when Nomar is still alive, he keeps telling to her that Richard drive the car very fast. She also advised Nomar to tell Richard about the "driving issue"
Lorayne continued in her interview that she totally lost a husband and a father to her 2 kids.
Nomar Prado is the personal assistant of Richard Gutierrez and died in an accident last May 22.
